I most often prefer to paint rather than producing music. Why? It's less computer time, less cables and you can listen to music while you're painting.
Why do I paint almost exclusively astronomical motives?
Well, the universe is very inspiring. When I watch documentaries about the universe I can't help to wonder why religions are needed. The reality is already mind blowing as it is. Isn't it logic to assume that if there's a God it will be the sun or the universe it self?
Did you know that it takes 165 earth years for Neptune to orbit the sun? So if you are 41 years old here, you would have been 6 765 years if you had lived your life on Neptune. But unfortunately that is not possible, yet. However, time does not feel so personal when you measure it as the movements of planets.
Another funny fact: Nasa has recieved atmospheric data for the gas giants indicates that carbon is abundant in its dazzling crystal form. So it's not unreasonable to assume that it's raining diamonds on Jupiter.
I could go on and on about the universe but I'm not an astronomer and I'm glad for that. I would get bored from all computer work. I am a painter and songwriter who is drawn to the woods
